Meet Your Inspector
Since graduating college, I spent about 16 years working as a technician, and the last 14 years in a manufacturing leadership position. Some of my years as a tech involved quality control, report delivery, and feedback to builders and designers, so I already know plenty about discussing complex topics. Since the manufacturing company I worked for was very people-centric, with a heavy focus on customer satisfaction, I gained years of insight into how to best serve you.

Residential
Inspections
If you're planning on buying or selling a home, then hiring a home inspector could save you thousands of dollars. It will also help you understand the property you want to buy and the possible defects.
Radon
Testing
Radon is colorless and odorless, and it is extremely carcinogenic. According to the EPA, radon is one of the leading contributors to the development of lung cancer, behind only smoking. For this reason, regular radon testing is key.
Thermal
Imaging
Thermal imaging is an advanced & newer technology that inspectors use to get temperature details about a home, and assess how protected against environmental elements the home is.
Insect
Inspections
If left unaddressed, wood-destroying organisms like termites and carpenter ants can cause major structural damage. We look at the structure for conditions that could allow wood-destroying organisms to thrive.
Drone Roof
Inspections
Inspectors are often limited to inspecting buildings from ground level, whether it’s due to safety concerns or because of height restrictions. A drone allows us to view the entire building when the roof isn't otherwise accessible.
Pool & Spa
Inspections
A pool inspection should be performed every few months, or whenever there are major structural changes made to the pool. The purpose of a pool inspection is to check the safety of the pool and make sure it meets state regulations.
The Best Modern Report in the Industry
While Up North Inspections LLC encourages our clients to walk through the home with us, we understand that you may be too busy, and may not have time to do so.
Regardless of whether or not you attend the inspection, we will compile a comprehensive Spectora report, which includes all of the information you need to determine the condition of the home.
We will deliver our report within 24 hours of the conclusion of your home inspection, so that you can quickly access a full overview of our findings – and discuss them with us and your agent.
